08101 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pump "a", low flow / performance you can see the data bus powertrain, missing messages from steering wheel electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
08101 Possible Causes:
08101 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08101 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
