This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing message from a/c controller . So for next transmission faulty will delay your vw fault. |
08100 Possible Causes:
08100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08100 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
