08098 Description And Summary : |

When you open cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit and wait then torque management feedback signal "b", low is the final reason of the code. |
08098 Possible Causes:
08098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08098 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for torque support mount, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
