Staring in engine accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. and evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
08097 Possible Causes:
08097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08097 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
