Staring in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open or 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
08096 Possible Causes:
08096 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08096 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
