This code were stamped on VW Engine case transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel pump, mechanical malfunction . On the other hand 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
08096 Possible Causes:
08096 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08096 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
