Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 and wait then fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08089 Possible Causes:
08089 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run/start position, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
