This code were stamped on VW Engine case post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit and egr system, regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
08088 Possible Causes:
08088 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
