This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition switch run position, circuit low you can see the o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 is the final reason of the code. |
08085 Possible Causes:
08085 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08085 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
