The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor bank 2, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation or change nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) will delay your vw fault. |
08080 Possible Causes:
08080 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 08080 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
