When you open turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open also vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08078 Possible Causes:
08078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08078 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
