This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of clutch ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
08078 Possible Causes:
08078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08078 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
