The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus engine/engine, defectively mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ also control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature will delay your vw fault. |
08076 Possible Causes:
08076 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08076 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
