Diameter in engine outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open and wait then valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
08071 Possible Causes:
08071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08071 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
