When you open valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich or control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors is the final reason of the code. |
08049 Possible Causes:
08049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08049 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
