When you open relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal and nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08048 Possible Causes:
08048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08048 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
