The problem is about coolant pump control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high or 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
08048 Possible Causes:
08048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08048 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
