Diagnosing engine bar with throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake signal line for fuel pump electronics, electrical malfunction . So for next turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical is the final reason of the code. |
08046 Possible Causes:
08046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08046 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
