The problem is about b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel supply heater, control circuit low also please check dtc memory of brake system ecu will delay your vw fault. |
08046 Possible Causes:
08046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08046 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
