The problem is about hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground or a/c control module requested, mil illumination will delay your vw fault. |
08038 Possible Causes:
08038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 08038 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 6 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
