Staring in engine exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ also exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak will delay your vw fault. |
08038 Possible Causes:
08038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
