When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+ or ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
08038 Possible Causes:
08038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08038 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
