This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ or change valve for torque support mount, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08031 Possible Causes:
08031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 08031 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator shut-off, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
