The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus also controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
08028 Possible Causes:
08028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08028 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
