Staring in engine auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel level sensor 2, circuit also pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
08028 Possible Causes:
08028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 08028 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
