Diagnosing engine bar with event data recorder request, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump or change wheel speed signal 4, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
08024 Possible Causes:
08024 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08024 Code
- Inspect all the connections cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
