This something to do with the intake camshaft timing air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached also secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08022 Possible Causes:
08022 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08022 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
