This code were stamped on VW Engine case interference in mechatronic module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic you can see the b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08020 Possible Causes:
08020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08020 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
