Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction . On the other hand water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
08018 Possible Causes:
08018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08018 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel additive control module warning lamp request
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
