08017 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of abs control module run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed torque management request input signal b, range / performance you can see the throttle angle signal stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
08017 Possible Causes:
08017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08017 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
