This code were stamped on VW Engine case power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
08016 Possible Causes:
08016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
