When you open secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake cylinder 10 above knock threshold . On the other hand air leak between throttle body and intake valves will delay your vw fault. |
08012 Possible Causes:
08012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08012 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
