08004 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) and data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics is the final reason of the code. |
08004 Possible Causes:
08004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 08004 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
