07996 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine temperature too low and wait then relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
07996 Possible Causes:
07996 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07996 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
