This something to do with the intake camshaft timing water in fuel sensor, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 2, circuit low and activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
07996 Possible Causes:
07996 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 07996 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
