07993 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so hydraulic pressure sensor 1, adaptation at limit and throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
07993 Possible Causes:
07993 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07993 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
