This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground or change exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
07992 Possible Causes:
07992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07992 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
