The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high or change generator shut-off, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
07992 Possible Causes:
07992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07992 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of abs control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
