Diagnosing engine bar with outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance you can see the camshaft position signal output, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
07991 Possible Causes:
07991 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 07991 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
