Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high and wait then kick down switch malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
07989 Possible Causes:
07989 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 07989 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
