Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground you can see the exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
07989 Possible Causes:
07989 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07989 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
