The problem is about injection pump, fuel calibration not learned run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation also water in fuel sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
07986 Possible Causes:
07986 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 07986 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
