07985 Possible Causes:
07985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 07985 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
