07985 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine throttle actuator control system, stuck closed it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground and temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
07985 Possible Causes:
07985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 07985 Code
- Inspect all the connections cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
