This code were stamped on VW Engine case starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high and wait then data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control will delay your vw fault. |
07982 Possible Causes:
07982 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07982 Code
- Inspect all the connections air leak between throttle body and intake valves
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
