07980 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor bank 2, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely or evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
07980 Possible Causes:
07980 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07980 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
