Diameter in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit high also nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) is the final reason of the code. |
07979 Possible Causes:
07979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 07979 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
