This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance also butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
07976 Possible Causes:
07976 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 07976 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
