The problem is about exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open . On the other hand throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm will delay your vw fault. |
07970 Possible Causes:
07970 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 07970 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
