This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction or change water in fuel sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
07940 Possible Causes:
07940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 07940 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
