Diameter in engine camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit or change kick down switch malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
07931 Possible Causes:
07931 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 07931 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
