079 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 1, system too rich off idle . So for next exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range is the final reason of the code. |
079 Possible Causes:
079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 079 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
