07896 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust pressure sensor the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles system too rich at higher load, bank 1 you can see the throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
07896 Possible Causes:
07896 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07896 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
