This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
07888 Possible Causes:
07888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07888 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module, driver error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
