When you open brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr. It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance or change internal control module: eeprom error will delay your vw fault. |
07887 Possible Causes:
07887 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07887 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
