The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
07883 Possible Causes:
07883 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 07883 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
