This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low you can see the oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
07880 Possible Causes:
07880 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 07880 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
