This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit or reversing light, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
07878 Possible Causes:
07878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07878 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
