Staring in engine throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses or combustion detection during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
07871 Possible Causes:
07871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 07871 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
