Diameter in engine relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance . On the other hand fuel pump, electronics faulty will delay your vw fault. |
07871 Possible Causes:
07871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 07871 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
