Staring in engine torque management feedback signal "a", low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high or transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
07866 Possible Causes:
07866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 07866 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
