This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 8 above knock threshold to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction or transmission temperature control is the final reason of the code. |
07866 Possible Causes:
07866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07866 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
