This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed kick down switch malfunction and wait then throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected will delay your vw fault. |
07858 Possible Causes:
07858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07858 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
